The Fall Fair 2008 was a lot of fun and a great success for Soul Ridge Farm. Mira rode Lily and Pearl at this years Fall Fair. They put on a great show and earned mostly blue ribbons. Some of the highlights included Lily winning the "Best Brood Mare" trophy for the second consecutive year, and well as the "Best Show Hack" Trophy, and she also won the high point "Best in Show" Trophy. She was a real star over the weekend and really put her heart into a great performance.

Mira and Pearl performing their "Belgian Waltz" at Fall Fair 2008
Mira and Pearl were honored to awe the crowds on both Saturday and Sunday with their breath taking "Belgian Waltz". Ridden bareback to a sound track from 1492 Mira and Pearl gracefully executed some quite advanced dressage moves in fluent harmony. The pair also completed in the trail class, barrel racing and the 2 foot 9 inch jumping classes. They actually received the blue ribbon in every class they entered. After her efforts Pearl one the "High Point Draft Horse" trophy, and Mira won the "High Point Senior Rider" Trophy.
All in all it was a great show, with a lot of fun people to ride with and socialize with. Soul Ridge Farm will definitely be back at Fall Fair 2009 to have more fun, test their skills, and support the community!
